Media Library
The Media Library is where you store and organize the images and GIFs used by your alerts. Each asset gets a tag system, filters, and a stable URL that the alert editor can reference.
Importing assets
- Click Import in the top-right corner.
- Pick a file from your computer in the dialog that opens.
Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP, SVG. Maximum file size: 10 MB (your plan may apply a lower import limit, see the Profile page).
TIP
On the Free plan, large images are converted to WEBP on import to keep your storage usage down. The Pro plan keeps the original format.
Tags
Tags let you group assets by theme so you can find them later. Open an asset (the Edit action on its card) to manage its tags:
- Type a tag and press Enter or , to add it (tags are lowercased automatically).
- Press Backspace in an empty tag field to remove the last tag.
- Click one of the predefined tag suggestions to add it in one click.
Filtering and searching
The toolbar above the grid offers several filters that combine:
- Search: type in the search box to match assets by name.
- Format: toggle one or more format chips (
.gif,.png,.jpg,.webp,.svg). - Usage: switch between All, Used, and Unused to see which assets are referenced by an alert.
- Tags: click any tag chip to filter by that tag (several tags can be active at once).
- Sort: order by Date, Name, or Size; click an active sort button again to flip the direction.
Use Reset filters to clear everything at once. The count next to the search box always reflects how many assets match the current filters.
EmoteLab (built-in assets)
The EmoteLab tab holds a catalog of ready-to-use animated assets bundled with StreamooS. You don't need to import them: they are always available to your alerts.
- Search by name.
- Filter by alert type (Follow, Subscription, Raid, Bits, Gift sub, Welcome) to find assets suggested for that event.
- Filter by tag pills.
These built-in assets are kept separate from your own uploads. The asset count shown in the Library header only counts your uploads, not the EmoteLab catalog.
Cleaning up unused assets
When at least one of your uploaded assets is not referenced by any alert, a Clean unused button appears in the toolbar. It deletes every upload whose usage count is zero, in one action, after a confirmation dialog.
WARNING
Deleting an asset is permanent and cannot be undone. The cleanup only targets your own uploads, never the EmoteLab catalog.
Using an asset in an alert
Assets are consumed by the Alerts Creator. In a flow's display step, click Choose an asset: a picker lets you select from your Library or from the EmoteLab catalog. The selected asset is then shown by the overlay when the alert fires.
You can also copy an asset's internal URL (streamoos-asset://<id>) from its card if you need to reference it directly.
